PHP and XML

Sterling Hughes
Author, Consultant

XML is the data format to end all other data formats. It is an extensible markup language, that allows for a loose definition of data, coupled with a strict ruleset or defining specific document heirarchies. In this session, we will explore how you can properly leverage XML from your PHP application. We will briefly cover the available interfaces, and then delve into the "Best Of" practices for using PHP and XML. Finally, we will cover the future of PHP's XML support, in way of the new PHP5 XML extension.
