Daniel is a developer at Community Connect Inc., where he helps build and maintain several web sites that together comprise one million lines of PHP code and receive twenty million dynamic page requests per day. At work, Daniel focuses on designing scalable and maintainable programs in PHP, and on creating tools that help make PHP suitable for large-scale applications. He is the author of two popular PHP extensions: the Alternative PHP Cache (APC), and APD, a profiler and interactive debugger.
